So after my friend Theresa showed me how cool a blog is for a keepsake on our life, I said I was going to do one that week...that was several months ago, but hey, I've always been a procrastinator!
To summarize our life to date: Jason and I were married July 10, 1999. Our 10th year anniversary is this year! And it went FAST! We have 3 wonderful children, Sam is almost 7, Becca is 5 1/2, and Adelyn just turned 2. They are SO much fun...we just love their individual personalities and enjoy doing things together as a family from "movie night on the big screen" to a hike in the woods. This summer we will do a lot more camping. We got to camp a few weekends last year. I'm looking forward to it this summer as Adelyn is potty trained and not a "baby" anymore. Should be a lot easier (and a lot less to pack).

Jason has been building Post Frame buildings since 1998 and did many types of construction prior to that. I have a degree in teaching, yes it is a nice piece of paper that I barely used. We decided to go into business for ourselves and in January of 2004 we were incorporated: Custom Structures, Inc. I do the office work, taxes, payroll, advertising, bidding/drawing, and most the sales. Jason runs the crew and builds the buildings and helps with sales. We sell for Wick Buildings and love what we do. It gives us the perfect balance for raising a family. Although many times throughout the year we feel like we barely see each other or the kids! With each year, we improve our scheduling and it does seem to get a little easier.
This blog will be about our life, but I'm sure I will have some days where I just vent my feelings and/or opinions. I'm hoping to be able to print this off every so often so one day I can give the kids an entire "biography" of our life as they grow up!
