Wow! What a crazy week...I have been advertising for my "first ever" thrift sale. This was because we are done having kids and I needed to get rid of TONS of baby/toddler clothes in boys and girls and all those big toys that take up too much space! Also the crib, baby bath, receiving blankets, diaper genie, potty chair, etc.
I was scheduled to get an IUD on Monday or Tuesday after the sale to make the "done having kids" thing final.
God works in mysterious ways. On Thursday, April 30th, I was working on bids and sneezed. That part is nothing strange, however, when I sneezed I felt a "pull" in my uterus. The same pull I felt with Sam, and the same pull I felt 2 weeks after conception with Becca, and the same pull I felt with Adelyn. So, as much as I was trying to make excuses (the way I was sitting, hard sneeze, PMSing)...I knew it...I'm pregnant!
Well, I guessed I had better take a test to find out for sure to see before selling ALL my baby stuff...so on Wednesday, May 6th at 3:00 a.m. (when Becca woke me up from her having a bad dream), I took a test. A very faint blue line, but definately a blue line. I was awake the rest of the night thinking of how this changes our lives, how we were "done" with babies at our house, etc. Wednesday was hard for me.
Then, after talking to my mom and sister, and Jason, I realized that this was in God's plan and all I have to do is except that. And "poof"! I was excited! I took another test on Thursday and the line was even more blue. So then I was really excited. I can't believe how your emotions can change from one day to the next. But we are now looking forward to our 4th child coming to our family in January. Jason always wanted four, and we all know he always gets his way! ha ha! We have told several friends, but we aren't saying anything to the kids until I'm about 3-4 months along.
SO...like I said on facebook when Adelyn was potty trained, "no more diapers at our house...but that is usually when we end up pregnant again!"
