Jason was on the road last night so they could get up early and finish the job they were on. It's been awhile since he's been gone overnight but I was actually looking forward to a "quiet" night as he tends to keep me up later than I usually would and he is quite "nocturnal" where he's up 10 times a night to snack. Since I've gotten this cold yesterday, I was thinking early bed for me. I tucked the kids in and hoped that they slept the night...Adelyn is still a 1-3 getter upper in the night!
I wanted to go right to sleep but the Twilight book next to the bed was calling my name so I read just a little of it. Then when I shut the light off, I zonked.
Then I heard something, strange. I just was opening my eyes to feel a cold, wet cat nose on my ear with the humming sound of Tucker's prrrr. Let me insert here that we have 2 cats, Milo and Tucker...who are NOT house cats...they belong in the shop and outside. So shocked, yes! I thought he had been in all night and wondered what I may find from his "containment". I took him to the front porch door and put him out and went back to bed as it was only 5:00 a.m. Just a minute passed and I heard my door open slightly against the carpet...Tucker, again! What the ??? So I picked him up and went to see what door was opened. The sunroom door had not been properly closed and the wind had blown hard enough to open it. Once again I put him out and went back to bed. Only to be wakened by Sam, then he crawled in bed with me, only to hear the TV go on from Becca. Sam left to watch TV, I tried to sleep, but no luck.
So now my hiney is dragging: making a baby is a lot of work, then put the cold on top of it (without any medications to assist) and you have ONE TIRED WOMAN!
